our story
A few words about us: Meet Pastor Roy and Shirley
I came from a broken home because of alcoholism, poverty, and the death of my sister when I was 6 years old. She was 7 when she passed away. It was at this time that my family blew up and my father turned in an alcoholic and would abandon my mom myself and younger brother and drink.
He would come back every once in a while and try sobering up but arguing would start because he would start drinking, in and out of detox and Alcoholic Anonymous meetings did not help. I grew up hating my dad for not being there for my mother and my brother and I. I said I would never be like him but turned into him drinking every weekend.
I met a girl and we started living in alcohol and fornication and hated each other. She gave her life to Jesus and was transformed into a new person before my eyes. She would invite me to church and to surrender my life to Jesus. I got saved December 1996 and haven’t been the same ever since.
My girlfriend became my wife 32 years ago and my father and mother got saved and have been delivered from alcoholism for 28 years. They are living for Jesus to this day.
Give Jesus your life to Jesus, He will make you new. God bless you.

Ushers are available before, during and after each service to answer your questions and help guide you.
